How can Fax-2-Email be FREE?

As with any fax setup, the SENDER pays for sending a fax. NOT the recipient. In this case, the sender pays a few cents more then they would to a regular landline fax. That is why it's 100% FREE to you! (The cost for send a fax to an 086...number is R2.02 per minute incl VAT)

Will I require special software to view the faxes?

All PC's with Windows operating systems have a standard TIFF image viewer but should you wish to receive your faxes in PDF format, you will require Adobe Reader. This software is free of charge and can be downloaded at www.adobe.com.

If I register, am I bound by any type of contract?

No, there are no contracts involved whatsoever. If you no longer wish to use the service, simply refrain from receiving faxes and after 90 days the 086... number will go back into circulation and be assigned to someone else.

Does my computer have to be turned on to receive faxes?

No, as with standard emails, your incoming faxes are stored on your Internet Service Providers
server until you have downloaded your email.

What if I already have a fax number?

If you already have a fax number and want to keep it, there's no problem. Just contact your phone company and call-forward the number to your new Cheap Site Design number. Or even more, you could just give out your FREE Cheap Site Design number and stop paying the high cost of an extra fax line.

Will my email address/addresses be given or sold to a third party?

No, under no circumstances will any of our clients email addresses or details be made available
to a third party.
