Cheap Site Design offers you a unique opportunity to lease your website from us as opposed to owning it. What are the benefits of leasing a website you may ask? Web Designers essentially make money in three different ways. Firstly, the initial cost to design your website. Typically the cost of this is anywhere between R1 000 to R10 000 for a small to medium sized website. They then charge a monthly web hosting fee for the storage space that your site takes up on their server. This can vary between R20 to R500 per month depending on a few factors including the size of your website, the amount of traffic etc. The third way they make money is one that is not expected by the owner of the website but makes complete sense. If you need to make any changes to your website who is the person you call? Typically the person who designed your website is who you would call. It is this cost that can start becoming really expensive. You can expect to pay up to R300 per hour for your web designer to make any changes to your site.

At Cheap Site Design we realised that for the most part our clients don’t know (and don’t want to know) how the actual mechanics of their websites work. It is for that reason we have our clients lease their website from us. What this means for you is that there are no hidden costs. The initial website design cost is included in your monthly fee. Any changes that need to be made to your website are for our account, which is also included in your monthly fee. Let us fast forward to two years from now. You’ve decided your business needs to be rebranded. No problem, you are leasing your website. We’ll redesign your website for no more than your monthly fee. We’re so confident in our service, abilities and products that there is no contract to sign. We work on a month to month basis and many of our clients are so comfortable with our service that they pay a year in advance for their website package.
